Europe is in a panic again. Another mutant virus has overshadowed the general imagination with its metamorphoses, it quickly paces the planet. It was found first in the EU in Belgium, followed by the rest. It is not yet clear how dangerous or infectious he is, but he has already been declared the best and called on everyone to save themselves. The most obvious way out is vaccination. True, those who have already decided to defend themselves have already done so in the absolute majority. On the doubts, the panic, judging by the numbers, did not have a sufficient effect. The vaccinated list has grown by only a few percent. Did not work. I had to force again.

In Austria, the unvaccinated were simply closed to their homes, cut off from life. Maximum - you can get to work. In Germany and the Czech Republic, nobody is interested in your antibodies, arguments, arguments. Tests are no longer accepted. Or vaccinated - and do what you want. Or you should have been ill already. Not just himself, quietly, asymptomatic, but everything as it should be - with tests, confirmation, official quarantine and so on. A friend tried to get to her child for a matinee at school, showed two vaccinations with "Sputnik V", one Pfizer, antibodies, and the Germans answered her briefly: "Nine!" The protocol is the same for everyone, scientific arguments, the opinion of doctors and logic are absolutely powerless.

A physician in Belgium told me bluntly: “With this level of antibodies, from a scientific point of view, it's too early for you to do revaccination. But with the political, apparently, will have to. Otherwise you won't get anywhere. " The French have also launched an extensive revaccination campaign. Macron injected and urged everyone to follow him. In order for the argument to sound convincing, it was decided to deactivate all the QR codes of the vaccinated if more than six months have passed since the second vaccination. That is, he did not make the third injection - he is equated to the unvaccinated.

They say that on the very first day after such news, about 3 million people signed up for French doctors. The mood of many people, twitched by endlessly changing restrictions, is: "I will do anything, just leave me alone." People laugh: after the fifth vaccination, you can start distributing 5G. But among my acquaintances there are those who prefer to stay at home on principle, because they do not want to inject anything for themselves or their children. They read horrors on the Internet on behalf of various doctors, read about Big Pharma conspiracies and dissuade me from injections (although I have already been vaccinated with Sputnik V).

Some from Germany moved to Russia altogether, sold everything that they had, and returned back home, because at home they don’t force me to do that. I don’t know if this is correct, but judging by the incredibly high number of deaths in our country, few vaccinated, probably, there is still a sense in vaccination. In the same France, there are already more cases per day than in Russia, and the number of deaths in comparison with this is a few. All countries are now very strict measures, just like before, the number of cases is growing rapidly. Naturally, not everyone is happy to return to restrictions.

There is a stable number of opponents in every country.

Brussels was recently smashed.

Well, they were smashing them - they erected a barricade on one street and smashed the windows around, throwing boulders at the police.

People were watered from water cannons, which is quite rare in Belgium.

Has anything changed since then?

Have the authorities retreated?

No.

The rules were tightened even more, masks were returned everywhere, in some educational institutions children are not allowed to take them off even during sports.

Everyone gets out as best they can.

Now you can't get together for the holidays, except for weddings and funerals.

And even then there are a lot of conditions.

The arrival of St. Nicholas to schools was canceled, the children of this Santa Claus have been waiting for Christmas all year round. Work returned to remote work, and Christmas markets were closed in several cities. In France, they have now decided to isolate the vaccinated if they came into contact with a sick person. Previously, it was possible not to sit in quarantine. And the validity period of PCR tests was reduced - now they are valid for only a day. Which is absurd, because the queues for such an analysis are long, it takes about two to three days to wait for the results. By that time, they have already turned into useless pieces of paper. That is, they clamped the ring so that for social life they left, in fact, only two options - to get vaccinated or get sick. Many children get sick, although it is said that about 90% of adolescents from 11 years old were given a protective injection, now scientists are looking at five-year-olds, like in the States.

They wanted to make the vaccination of doctors living in French overseas territories mandatory.

But there it exploded.

Against the background of high unemployment, poverty, crime, the sanitary initiatives of Paris did not go.

The slums raised a riot, special forces were sent to suppress it, they began to shoot from real weapons, and not with fireworks, as on the mainland.

About 20 law enforcement officers were injured in clashes.

Guadeloupe blazed every night, now Martinique.

It is generally difficult on the island: a third of the population is unemployed, the cost of living is high, and the prices for gasoline and gas have sharply increased. Another fad of hatred for Paris is the widespread use of Chlordecone until 1993, the earth is saturated with it, this pesticide became the culprit for the wave of prostate cancer. Therefore, any compulsion to inject with something is perceived there especially acutely. And the riots are merciless there. I had to impose a curfew - to no avail. On the roads at night, gangs build their own checkpoints, which can be passed by treating those standing on them with beer, cigarettes, money and everything else that they find in the car. They shoot at the police, shoot at the journalists. Weapons rule the night.

Paris in such a situation makes a non-standard move. On the one hand, it postpones the entry into force of the law on compulsory vaccination until the end of December, on the other hand, it is considering the issue of the autonomy of Guadeloupe. This put everyone into a stupor. There, no one asked for this autonomy, they do not have their own economy and production, the region is subsidized. The French opposition also exploded on all flanks, they saw autonomy as a message: "Less republic, more anarchy." The Corsicans were outraged that they had to beg concessions from Paris for years, and then people rebelled for a week ...

Well, the situation is being watched most closely in New Caledonia, where a decisive referendum on secession from France is to take place in a couple of weeks.

Supporters of independence asked to postpone the vote, because the sanitary situation there is very bad, all flights have long been canceled before the New Year, but Paris is in a hurry to close this topic before the elections in its favor.

If those wishing to secede boycott the referendum, then the loyalists will have no difficulty in winning.

But the ratio of supporters and opponents of independence in reality on the archipelago is 50 to 50. It is not obvious that the situation will be easily resolved there in any case.

In general, the French map now looks like a minefield, where sanitary rules are cannonballs falling on a rugged land of problems. And for each new strain, even with such a funny name for France as omicron, rational calm is no longer enough. Hence the panic and grabbing at the restrictive club at the first opportunity, the next horror from the next mutated infection and, alas, an unsuccessful attempt to close off the world again.

Cancellation of flights could not save from the fifth wave of the disease.

But to scare people - scared.

And so much so that the attempt of the pharmaceutical giants to play on this and release a specialized vaccine against a new strain did not surprise anyone.

The people shrugged their shoulders in understanding and went about their business.

In such conditions, one does not want to think about the sad, one wants to try to enjoy the remnants of the former social culture and just survive.
