This contest is held every year by colleges of technology and NHK all over the country, and last year it was all done online due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but this is an online district from 115 teams nationwide. Twenty-six teams that won the tournament gathered at the Kokugikan.
The theme of this year is "Wow! Skill Robot", which thoroughly pursues special techniques and new techniques that you want to challenge. I competed.
At the tournament, there are robots that move up steps and grab pipes on obstacle courses, and robots that dance like musicals with students while turning colorful umbrellas. Team showed a performance that shines with creativity and technical ability, and a big applause was sent from the venue.
Oyama National College of Technology wins double award
As a result of the examination, "Oyama National College of Technology" in Tochigi Prefecture, which succeeded in jumping while rotating with a robot that applies the principle of tops, won the "winning" and the "Robocon Grand Prize" given to the best idea. I did.
