A man pushed another in Munich in front of an arriving S-Bahn.

The train rolled over the 37-year-old at the Stachus (Karlsplatz) stop, as a police spokesman said on Sunday.

The man was seriously but not critically injured.

Police arrested a 41-year-old suspect.

He is being investigated for an attempted homicide.

He is expected to appear before an investigating judge on Monday.

According to the police, the 41-year-old resisted his arrest.

He is said to have had an argument with the 37-year-old in the afternoon and then pushed him in front of the S-Bahn.

The police could not initially say whether the two men knew each other and why they were arguing.

The S-Bahn traffic was temporarily interrupted at the stop.
