It's an unusual story, especially on this scale.

Last June, dozens of motorists broke down a few hours after refueling their car in the Intermarché service station in Montpon-Ménestérol in the Dordogne.

If the brand first denied its responsibility, it recognizes it today.

The reason ?

The presence of water in the two diesel tanks due to a piping problem.

Since then, the files of claims have multiplied on the desk of Intermarché's management.

According to

Sud Ouest, to date

there have been 371 requests, sometimes with repairs of several thousand euros.

The victims gathered on a Facebook group.

Some have already been reimbursed while others are still awaiting compensation from the sign.
