At 9:30 on November 23, after receiving a call from the people in Wei County for help searching for relatives in the water, a group of five people from the Blue Sky Rescue Team of Daming County rushed to the Daming Section of Zhanghe with lifeboats and other equipment and volunteered to help. At 11 o'clock, the lifeboat overturned unfortunately during the salvage process. Five people on the boat fell into the water at the same time. One of them was washed by the river to a shallow 700 meters downstream and then went ashore on his own. Liang Zhenfeng and three other teammates were trapped in the swift and cold water.
After the accident, the local fire control, health, emergency management and other departments immediately began to organize rescues. 20 minutes later, three of them were rescued ashore. However, due to the large water flow, low water temperature, and prolonged immersion, Liang Zhenfeng was eventually exhausted and was No trace of the river rushing into the rapids.
Later, the local rescue team organized a rescue force of more than 300 people to carry out search and rescue. Until 14:00 on November 25, he was found 400 meters downstream of Liang Zhenfeng's falling point, but he was unfortunately killed.
It is reported that Liang Zhenfeng joined the Blue Sky Rescue Team of Daming County, Handan City in 2019. He participated in 28 rescue activities and participated in 51 social services for more than 700 hours. He has been rated as an excellent volunteer by the team many times.
