After two years of waiting, Mulhousiens can, since this Wednesday, enjoy the traditional Christmas market.

After the cancellation in 2020, the event is therefore back… but with a few changes, reports

It is a new format of the Christmas market which was inaugurated on Wednesday.

Covid-19 requires, the chalets have been spaced and the aisles enlarged in order to comply with health constraints.

Consequence: the Ferris wheel is not present this year.

A space for children

The municipality wanted to create six different spaces, including a Children's Village, Place de la Bourse.

“We have focused on the quality of traders present on the market,” explained the deputy mayor responsible for commercial attractiveness to the city's official webzine.

The Christmas market welcomes visitors until December 27.

It is open Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
