Recently, the reporter walked into the student lunch distribution center in Chengguan District, Lhasa, and visited the "back kitchen" of student lunch.
This center is affiliated to the public institutions of the Chengguan District Education System and has officially provided meals for students since June 2015.
At present, more than 4,500 meals are served daily for the two schools.
A meal is 9 yuan, serving two meats and one vegetarian.
The dishes served are different every day, and the menu is also prepared a week in advance.
On the day of the interview, the center provided sweet and sour pork ribs, beef with lettuce, and vegetable fried lotus white.
The scale of this catering center will also be expanded to meet the needs of more school lunches in the urban area.
