Several doctors opposed to the Covid-19 vaccination have tested positive after attending a conference in early November in Florida.
This summit brought together between 800 and 900 participants and was devoted to so-called alternative treatments to fight against the disease.
Among them, reports
The Guardian
, was Dr Bruce Boros, a strong supporter of ivermectin, this antiparasitic treatment presented by some as a miracle cure against Covid-19.
"My wife and I have been taking ivermectin for sixteen months and I have never felt so good in my whole life", he would have launched during this conference.
Two days later, the 71-year-old cardiologist tested positive for the coronavirus, as did six other health professionals present at his side during the summit.
Ivermectin alerts
Despite these revelations, the event organizer subsequently denied the existence of a cluster.
"I think they contracted Covid-19 in New York or Michigan or wherever they came from,"
Dr John Littell
told The
Daily Beast
before specifying that Dr Boros was going. " good ".
An assertion that would have been contradicted by relatives of the doctor.
A fierce opponent of Dr. Anthony Fauci, scientific adviser to US President Joe Biden, Dr. Boros has been promoting the use of ivermectin for months.
However, recalls
The Guardian
, a major scientific study which affirmed the effectiveness of this drug as an anti-Covid treatment was withdrawn after the data proved to be false and the patients non-existent.
"The use of animal ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of Covid-19 in humans is dangerous," says the US Federal Agency for Food and Drug Products.
