Back on the Congo Hold-up, this vast scandal of embezzlement of public funds which splashes on Joseph Kabila, former president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and his clan.

The Congo Hold-up is a collaborative investigation carried out by 19 media including RFI and 5 specialized NGOs, associated with the European consortium EIC.

It was brought to a successful conclusion thanks to the leak of 3.5 million bank documents.

It tells us about considerable embezzlement of public funds: 138 million dollars stolen between 2013 and 2018. How were these massive embezzlements made possible?
