Mediterranean episode in sight?
The Aude has been placed on orange vigilance for rain and floods from Tuesday evening, said Météo-France, which also forecasts "significant rains" in the Pyrénées-Orientales and Hérault.
The Aude should experience the equivalent of "one to two months of precipitation" between Tuesday at 10 p.m. and Wednesday at 6 p.m., specifies Météo-France, in a bulletin released on Tuesday afternoon.
“The Pyrénées-Orientales department will also experience significant rains and heavy snowfall at altitude above 1600/1800 m.
This department is placed in yellow vigilance, ”adds Météo-France.
The Hérault, also in yellow vigilance, "will experience significant rains" from Wednesday.
