She is really not a "girl teacher in Dalian with improper remarks about the epidemic"

On November 17, the Dalian Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a police report on the case of "kindergarten teachers' improper remarks related to the epidemic."

Zhang Hongli, a woman from Dalian Wafangdian, never thought that she would be famous in that way.

She was born in 1992 and is often praised for her beauty. Not long ago, her photos were associated with various abusive language.

On November 17, an ordinary Wednesday, around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, Zhang Hongli put her 2-year-old son to sleep and was about to start a movie.

Suddenly, a friend sent a picture and asked her: Is the person in this picture you?

"

  She replied "yes".

A friend said that in the circle of friends, I saw the news that "Dalian kindergarten teachers issued inappropriate remarks about the epidemic", and the picture is this picture.

Zhang Hongli did work as a kindergarten teacher, but in 2018, she left her job due to waist pain. After getting married in 2019, she has been a "full-time mother" at home.

My friend immediately sent a small video, asking her to "hurry up and take a look on Weibo."

At that time, Zhang Hongli's photos had been reposted on Weibo in large numbers.

The photo records that on July 14, 2018, she went to see Jay Chou's concert, wearing a fan headband, and bending her eyebrows with a smile.

She sent 9 photos, including this one, to Moments of Friends as a souvenir.

On her birthday, a friend printed this photo as a birthday card and gave it to her with a blessing-"Always believe that beautiful things are about to happen".

But now, some people scolded her as "beautiful but no brain" for this photo, and some people said she was "unworthy to be a Jay Chou fan."

Zhang Hongli continued to search on Weibo. The screenshots posted by netizens showed that an account named "Suddenly After Silence" posted that picture of her on May 6, 2019, with the text saying: "Suddenly remembered this picture last year. Photo."

That account is not hers, and she never said those words.

Zhang Hongli was very angry: "I have somehow carried this scapegoat."

It was 9:54 am on November 17, and the Weibo account "Suddenly After Silence" issued a statement saying that he did not want the epidemic in Dalian to stop, and hoped that the more the better.

The account claims to be a kindergarten teacher in Dalian, and is usually "tortured" by various parents.

This remark aroused the anger of netizens. Someone found a selfie of the suspected person from his Weibo album and forwarded it.

The woman in the photo is actually Zhang Hongli.

Not long after, a former colleague also found Zhang Hongli and said that the photo “should be stolen”.

There are also pictures of two other teachers in the Weibo album of Pirate's account. These two teachers are from the kindergarten group where Zhang Hongli used to work, and everyone has quickly called the police.

In the WeChat group of Dalian citizens, these photos were reposted in large numbers, and Zhang Hongli's photos made headlines on the Internet.

The teachers in the kindergarten were discussing the real identity of the photo pirate in the group. The information circulated was not enough to make everyone “see who did it at a glance”, but they guessed that “it should be someone in the circle of friends”.

"Go to the police!" a former colleague suggested to Zhang Hongli.

Zhang Hongli tried to use private messages to contact some bloggers who published related topics to explain the real situation, but her request was not answered.

After trying several times, she realized that things had become "uncontrollable", "it is not something I can solve alone".

So she hurried to the local police station to report the case.

Due to the recent round of new crown pneumonia in Dalian, Zhang Hongli took her son back to her hometown in the countryside during this period.

The local police have not dealt with similar cases before, and said they would ask their superiors for instructions and make a transcript for her first.

After waiting for a while, the policeman asked her: "Do you know Song?"

She replied: "I know, our former colleague."

"Is she the one who steals the photos?" Zhang Hongli was shocked.

Although it is a former colleague relationship, Zhang Hongli and Song do not have too much overlap. The two have worked in different kindergartens under the same group.

In 2017, the group organized dozens of teachers to participate in a two-day study and training. She and Song happened to be grouped together.

In order to facilitate the discussion, the teachers in the same group added WeChat to each other and pulled the group together.

While chatting, Song said that he used to learn dance, and later became fat because of illness.

The two also talked about constellations.

In Zhang Hongli's impression, Song "seems to be a little lonely."

After the training, she and Song had no contact.

Later, when the unit organized the training again, the two were not grouped together, and there was little interaction in the WeChat Moments.

Zhang Hongli recalled that Song's selfies were mostly partial gestures, "showing one eye" or "half of the face", "unlike the full face I posted, it's very clear."

The two contacted again in 2018 because Song had already gone to another kindergarten. Zhang Hongli, who was about to leave, asked Song for information on resignation procedures. She remembered Song's attitude at the time was "very good."

Zhang Hongli learned from the police that Song had been summoned to the case for suspected provocation. She thought, "The matter is over here."

But she did not expect that after the Zhongshan Branch of the Dalian Public Security Bureau issued a police report at 6:20 that night, the matter "exploded" and the online attacks on her intensified.

Zhang Hongli's mother lives in the countryside all the year round and doesn't use the Internet very much. She doesn't know what cyber violence means.

"My mother's first reaction was that you don't need to care, it will be gone after two days." She recalled, "In my mother's opinion, this is a small thing."

The mother also joked to her that it was a photo in 2018. Now that you are married, have children, and become fat, you may not be recognized by everyone in the future.

Zhang Hongli said with a smile that her mother was a person who "turned big things into small things".

At the time of the incident, Zhang Hongli’s husband was recuperating at her parents’ house in Dalian. Zhang Hongli told him: “My photo has been stolen. There is nothing wrong with it. Just explain it clearly.”

The local police helped her contact several "big V" with a large number of Weibo fans to clarify and request the deletion of the photos.

But after only one afternoon, her photos have been reposted "everywhere".

Most of the villagers didn’t know the matter. Friends from other places called Zhang Hongli one after another, urging her anxiously: “You have to deal with it quickly. If you wait overnight, it won’t necessarily be what it will develop.”

She originally thought: "Why don't you forget it, isn't it just a photo?"

After careful consideration, she realized: "No, people may not remember what this person is called in the future, but they may remember this face. When I go back to work and children go to school in the future, everyone may mistakenly think that the person in the photo did it. This matter."

"Her surname is Song, and my surname is Zhang. It is impossible for me to engrave a few words on my forehead later,'My last name is Zhang'." Zhang Hongli told her mother that she must clarify.

For the first time, Zhang Hongli's idea was to ask the police to "issue an announcement", but it was late at night, and she called the Zhongshan branch, "Everyone is off work."

Throughout the evening, her friends acted online. As soon as they saw her photo, they contacted the blogger to explain the situation, hoping that the other party would take the photo down.

Some bloggers deleted the relevant content after confirming the facts, but more private messages fell to the sea.

The policeman who helped her make transcripts also helped her clarify in her circle of friends.

In the face of the Internet waves that have swept through, these forces are very limited.

Some friends also suggested that Zhang Hongli should show her face and post a video explaining the situation, but she "does not want to get eyeballs."

At this time, she happened to see the Dalian local blogger "Dalian Yang Persimmon", who she followed on Douyin, posted a short video in the evening of the same day, commenting on the "Dalian Female Preschool Teacher" incident.

A screenshot of the text appeared in the short video, and no photo of her was posted.

She tried to send a private message to "Dalian Yang Persimmon", stating that she was the subject of the stolen photos.

The other party expressed sympathy, but still suggested that she should be clarified by the official announcement, and the blogger should speak, "No one will believe it."

That night, Zhang Hongli basically never fell asleep.

When she woke up the next morning, she turned on the news or social software on her phone, "photos were overwhelming," and the spread was "unimaginable."

She was immediately blinded and did not dare to read the comments on the Internet.

Once again, Zhang Hongli hurried to the police station and asked if the police could issue an announcement for herself, proving that she was not the suspect Song in the photo.

The police told her that this matter needs to be reported layer by layer for approval, and that the infringement of portrait rights is a civil case and cannot be directly notified.

"When they finish contacting, this matter must have been unclear." In desperation, she found "Dalian Yang Persimmon" again.

This morning, "Dalian Yang Persimmon" introduced a reporter from the Dalian Evening News to her. After learning about the situation, the reporter was willing to help her clarify and contacted many other media.

Zhang Hongli's heart hanging in the air finally fell slightly.

Some media found her and asked her if she could record it in a telephone interview. She agreed, "As long as she doesn't show her face" and "I don't want to impress everyone anymore."

Not long after that, a friend forwarded the news link to Zhang Hongli: "Look at it, it's clarified!"

  "Yes, clarified." She replied relievedly.

At 2:55 pm on the 18th, she used the newly-applied Toutiao account "Michelle Small" to issue a statement: "I am the victim. The photo posted by this detained kindergarten teacher on the Internet is not her, but My photo, she is my former colleague. My photo was stolen from Moments..." She attached two blurred screenshots of Moments to prove her identity.

The staff of the Douyin platform also contacted her to help her edit the video and post it on a brand new account.

Once, Zhang Hongli was a person who liked to share life in the circle of friends. After having a child, she would quickly set the photo as "private" every time she shared a photo of her son.

She sometimes shares photos and videos on social platforms such as Douyin to keep a memorial.

In the past, when logging in to some apps, she used to set the photo as an avatar, and occasionally upload a few photos, but "deleted them if they were not used."

She usually doesn't have much time to browse her mobile phone. In her free time, she uses Douyin, read novels, and often goes on Weibo just to see some cute hand-drawn pictures.

Most of her WeChat friends are colleagues and former parents of students. She thought they were all trustworthy people.

She never thought that she would be involved in the Internet turmoil, but this time "Oolong" made her extra vigilant, "after posting to Moments, consider grouping."

After Zhang Hongli's clarification was issued on social media, many netizens expressed sympathy and comfort to her.

But at the same time, she still received private messages and comments full of speculation and doubts.

"Is this true?" "Why does she use your picture?" "Why does she have your picture?"

Others asked: "Do you want to become an Internet celebrity through this incident?" "Do you want to live broadcast the goods?"

Some people even questioned that she was Song herself, and asked: "Do you want to get rid of this matter?"

Zhang Hongli felt so angry and funny: "Song is still in custody, how can she wash herself on the Internet?"

She rushed through the comments and did not reply too much, "Everyone has a different idea. I just need to explain it clearly, and those who are clear will clear it up."

Some people are still waiting for a follow-up to see if she will sue Song.

But she said that after a few days with trepidation, it took too much effort and she didn't want to continue this farce.

"After that, it's over. I'm very happy after clarifying. There is no follow-up."

In fact, she didn't quite understand why Song had to upload a colleague's photo. If she said it was to follow her and post photos of multiple teachers at the same time, it was "obviously not alone".

She guessed that Song did not upload photos to deliberately plant and frame, "I guess she herself did not expect the consequences to be so serious."

On the morning of November 19, nearly 48 hours after being caught in the whirlpool of the cyber storm, a friend told Zhang Hongli that some of the media were still using her photos.

After she found it, she left a message for the blogger.

But as for whether the other party deletes the pictures or not, she also "cannot control".
