Soviet and Russian artist, animator and director Eduard Nazarov was born on November 23, 1941. He is considered one of the most prominent representatives of Soviet animation in the 1970s and 1980s. Among the most famous works of Nazarov - animation films "Once upon a time there was a dog", "Winnie the Pooh", "The Princess and the Cannibal". In the 1990s, the animator, together with Yuri Norshtein, Fyodor Khitruk and Andrey Khrzhanovsky, founded the SHAR school-studio for animators-directors. In 2007, Eduard Nazarov became the artistic director of the Pilot studio.
