　　China Earthquake Networks determined that at 18:51 on November 21, it was located at 28.45 degrees north latitude and 104.79 degrees east longitude in Changning County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. A magnitude 4.6 earthquake occurred with a focal depth of 11 kilometers.

　　Changning County belongs to Yibin City, Sichuan Province. It is located on the southern edge of the Sichuan Basin, the transition zone between the Sichuan Basin and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau.

The terrain of Changning County is high in the south and low in the north, with middle-low mountains in the south and hills in the north-central.

In the past 10 years, Yibin City, where the epicenter is located, has experienced 219 earthquakes of magnitude 3 or higher, including 184 earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 to 3.9, 28 of magnitude 4.0 to 4.9, 6 of magnitude 5.0 to 5.9, 1 of magnitude 6.0 to 6.9, and magnitude of 7.0. For the above 0 times, the largest earthquake was a 6.0-magnitude earthquake that occurred in Changning County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province on June 17, 2019.

When passing through Wuyi Village in Dongdi Town, there were cement bricks on the side of the road that fell into the highway, and the firefighters cleaned up in time.

The National Mine Emergency Rescue Furong Team also sent 2 rescue teams to carry out inspections in the earthquake area with rescue equipment such as life detectors, drones, demolition tools, lighting, and medical first aid.

　　According to the railway department, after the earthquake, some stations along the Chengdu-Guizhou Railway felt the earthquake to varying degrees.

In order to ensure the safety of passenger transportation, the railway department quickly launched an emergency plan to conduct temporary inspections of equipment between Yibin West Station and Xingwen Station on the Chengdu-Guizhou Railway. Passenger trains passing by will be delayed to varying degrees.
