At about 18:53 pm on November 21, two people were trapped on the reef in Yangxia Village, Jinjing Town, Jinjiang City, Fujian Province. After receiving the call from the Jinjiang Longhu Fire and Rescue Station, the water rescue team quickly dispatched to the scene to rescue them.
After the firefighters arrived, they learned that the two were trapped on a reef 300 meters from the shore. At this time, the tide was high and the return path was flooded. Fortunately, the two had taken self-protection measures and were in good physical condition.
After understanding the situation, the firefighters immediately negotiated with the local police to transfer the fishermen’s boat to the rescue; the two firemen put on personal protective equipment with life-saving equipment, and joined the fishermen familiar with the sea conditions to set up a boat for the rescue.
After more than 20 minutes of emergency treatment, the two were successfully rescued ashore.
