At 6:45 pm on November 22, a part of the staff dormitory building of the former Baimamiao Pharmaceutical Factory, Xinqizhou Administration Office, Ganjiang New District, Guoyao North Avenue, collapsed.
It is understood that the dormitory is a 6-story brick-concrete prefabricated slab structure built in 1995.
The cause of the accident is being checked.
According to Yu Chunyong, party secretary of the Comprehensive Convenience Service Management Center of Xinqizhou Management Office of Ganjiang New Area, who participated in the rescue at the scene, the accident has caused one death and three others lost contact.
