Theater and film actress, People's Artist of Russia Nina Ruslanova died in Moscow at the age of 75.

The Union of Cinematographers stressed that the death of the actress came after a long illness.

However, some media outlets call the coronavirus the cause of death.

According to Channel Five, Ruslanova was diagnosed with first-second degree respiratory failure.

The artist allegedly refused hospitalization, but later she was still admitted to the hospital with viral pneumonia and atrial fibrillation.

Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova expressed condolences on the death of Nina Ruslanova.

“Sad news for all of us was the death of an outstanding actress, People's Artist of Russia Nina Ivanovna Ruslanova,” the head of the department said in a telegram.

Lyubimova noted that with her bright and memorable images, the actress won the hearts of millions of viewers of various generations, and “her rich filmography became an example of an invaluable creative heritage, in which each work is unique and unique”.

“We will forever preserve the good memory of Nina Ivanovna,” the minister emphasized.

Composer Vladimir Dashkevich, in an interview with RT, called Nina Ruslanova a wonderful actress.

“A wonderful actress.

I believe that one of the most significant actresses of the generation, where it was almost impossible to surprise with acting.

But she did it every time.

She played all the little things wonderfully.

She didn't have little things in her role.

She considered every detail of her acting job.

This, it seems to me, is a school that comes from natural conscientiousness.

Small theater school, old Russian theater school.

It was in her blood.

This is the ability to emphasize the little things of everyday life, to emphasize the rhythm of speech, to change intonation.

This expressiveness is boundless, ”said Dashkevich.

Theater and film actor, People's Artist of Russia Yevgeny Steblov stressed that he met Ruslanova when she had not yet worked in cinema.

“I am a little older than her, she graduated from college, where I graduated in due time ... We had a relationship of mutual sympathy, which did not receive any development.

In the future, the life of each of us went its own way.

She has grown into a great actress.

She was lucky that she found her directing in cinema.

And like any great talent, it was quite contradictory.

This did not diminish the importance of her contribution to our art.

And in the cinema and in the theater when she worked.

I have the fondest memories of her, "Steblov said to RT.

People's Artist of Russia Alexander Filippenko noted that Ruslanova was open and devoted to the theater.

“She was a truly Vakhtangov actress in the sense that she was not afraid to show the director all the options that she had.

And if something was not accepted, then she did not insist on it.

She always easily went to any surprises that arose on the set.

And it was very cool, ”Filippenko told the Zvezda TV channel.

Film director Yuri Kara considers the death of Nina Ruslanova a great blow and loss.

“And I think not only for me, but for our entire culture and all our art, because this is a truly brilliant, unique actress, a truly Russian character.

Our land is based on such Russian women, ”said Kara TASS.

He added that Nina Ruslanova was the "foundation" of his painting "Tomorrow Was War".

“I started working with her on the film, she offered me a lot.

We worked great, I have the warmest and most sincere memories, now it is very difficult to speak, ”the director admitted.

Honored Artist of the RSFSR Elena Proklova, in an interview with the agency, emphasized that Ruslanova had a difficult life, and fate had not spoiled her since childhood.

“And even the good roles that she played, she played them all the same suffering.

She was a very anxious person ... Ruslanova will definitely not be offended by the memory of people.

The memory of the audience will certainly justify many difficulties in her life.

Viewers will always remember her work in cinema with a kind word, ”Proklova expressed confidence.
