[Explanation] On November 20th, the academic forum for the 120th anniversary of Mr. Yang Tingbao’s birth was held at Southeast University. Dozens of top experts, scholars, and industry veterans at home and abroad "cloud gather" online and offline to commemorate this modern Chinese architecture first people.

Yang Tingbao has only lived and worked in Nanjing for many years, leaving more than 70 architectural works of art, deeply influencing and shaping The temperament and style of this ancient capital.

Mr. Yang Tingbao has left several very important architectural works in Southeast University. Our Southeast University’s character-shaped architectural pattern, with a pool in the middle, a large auditorium in the back, a library on the west and the Department of Architecture of the Chinese University on the east In addition to the school gate in front of the central axis, this group of buildings has traces of Mr. Yang Tingbao's (creation).
[Explanation] Zhou Qi told reporters that Mr. Yang Tingbao has always maintained a humble attitude towards the relationship between the new and the old buildings, so that the two organically blended together.

Our city needs to look inward, and we need to do a lot of micro-renewal and transformation. Mr. Yang did the so-called micro-renewal and transformation 70 or 80 years ago. This is a very good example. Between the buildings) harmoniously together.

My father has been working in the Department of Architecture since the 1940s and has never left the Department of Architecture. There were very few students at that time, but the teachers worked very hard, so when the students at that time entered the society, they were able to become working units.
