The inauguration ceremony was held on the 21st at "Yokohama Children's Hospice-Umi to Sora no Uchi" operated by an NPO corporation in Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama City.



"Children's Hospice" is for children and their families who live a life-threatening illness such as childhood cancer to play, learn, and spend time with the support of nurses and nursery teachers. It is a facility that can be done.

There are advanced cases in the United Kingdom and other countries, but according to the NPO, "Children's Hospice", which is not attached to a hospital, is the second in Japan and the first in eastern Japan, following the facility in Tsurumi Ward, Osaka. That is.

The facility is expected to accommodate about 3 families a day, and is equipped with a large bath and hammock so that the family can have a good time, and there is also a space where you can interact with the local people.
