Jodie Comer is "terrified" of her West End debut

Next year, Jodie Comer will make her solo stage debut on the stage of the Harold Pinter Theater in London in a play by Suzie Miller called

In a recent interview with

 admitted she was just "terrified" by the prospect.

"I have a lot of work to do, but I'm so on the lookout for something new that will challenge me and force me out of my comfort zone," she said, before greeting the work of the playwright.

, Jodie Comer will play a lawyer who defends men accused of rape until the day she herself is the victim of a sexual assault.

She must then face the same obstacles as the victims of her clients.

2022 will therefore be a key year for the actress who has many projects on the go.

, a biopic devoted to Napoleon with Joaquin Phoenix whose release is set for 2023. Finally, Jodie Comer hopes to work as soon as possible with Julia Ducournau, the director of

, on a science fiction film.

“What I like about her is that she clearly has a singular voice and her films are so unexpected,” she said about the French filmmaker crowned with a Palme d'Or.
