• Each week, the association publishes a dozen “local” job offers.

  • "The objective is to make visible the companies which recruit not far from home, and to put proximity back in the process", explains Jessica Beauguitte, general delegate of Décoll'ton job.

Sports coach, cleaning agent, metal welder, party manager… As every week, a dozen new job offers were printed and posted on hundreds of billboards, including that of the Feydeau bakery, in the city center of Nantes. If there is something for everyone, the positions offered to all those who come to take a look while buying their bread have one thing in common. "There are only local offers, it's short circuit," says Jessica Beauguitte, 40, general delegate of the Décoll'ton job association. The objective is to make visible the companies which recruit not far from home, to put proximity back into the process. "

Launched four years ago in the City of the Dukes, Décoll'ton job's astonishing approach, which relies on word of mouth, is intended as a counter-current response to “the jungle of online recruitment”.

Because faced with the abundance of offers of all kinds that can be found on the major Internet platforms, it is sometimes difficult to see clearly, even not to feel completely lost ... "Today, we send her CV in one click, without even knowing if it will be read and by whom, notes Jessica Beauguitte.

Not to mention that digital technology, required to apply, is not an essential skill for all professions!

"Even more direct exchanges"

It is difficult to know how much the association, which has exceeded the milestone of 300 classified ad panels installed in various shops and places of life in Loire-Atlantique, has caused real hires. In any case, it has already attracted dozens of companies, which are looking for new ways to cope with a staff shortage. The circle of Grandgousier has again decided to go through the association for the recruitment of commercial animators, in great demand for the Christmas holidays. “Normally, I recruit through Facebook where there is already a small community,” explains Julie de Heaulme, the manager. But Décoll'ton job allows you to find other profiles, with even more direct exchanges that help retain candidates. We emancipate ourselves from the dehumanizing side of platforms. "

On its panels, Décoll'ton job also brings together the various workshops or meetings organized locally and during the week by other employment players.

The association, which is already spreading in the Angevin region and in Corsica, will soon add a string to its bow by taking over from the Contact Employment Cafés, an initiative launched fifteen years ago and which organizes direct meetings between employers and candidates, less formal than a job dating.

“Here again, it changes practices and postures,” observes Jessica Beauguitte.

With, always at the center, this fundamental human bond.
