Andalucía registra este sábado 20 de noviembre una subida de dos hospitalizados por Covid-19 respecto a la jornada anterior para situarse en un total de 206, lo que supone un aumento de 26 en la comparativa intersemanal, mientras que los pacientes ingresados en una Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) se han mantenido sin cambios en 40, seis más que la semana pasada.

Siguen al alza los casos y la incidencia en Cantabria

Cantabria ha sumado en la última jornada 74 nuevos casos de Covid-19, cuatro más que el día anterior y, aunque la comunidad sigue en nivel de riesgo controlado, la incidencia sigue creciendo y ya está en los 93 casos por cada 100.000 habitantes, un incremento de diez puntos en un día.

En el lado positivo, no se ha registrado en el día de ayer, viernes, ningún nuevo fallecimiento por coronavirus y han bajado los hospitalizados, hasta los 12 (dos menos), con uno en las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos, según Europa Prees de los datos de la Consejería de Sanidad.

En cuanto a la evolución de la transmisión comunitaria, la tendencia es creciente, en un 55%, y está en nivel rojo.

La incidencia a 14 días ha crecido hasta los 93 casos por cada 100.000 habitantes, lo que sube un repunte de 10 puntos en una jornada, y la de a 7 días hasta los 57 -5 más-.

Que baje el nivel de anticuerpos no significa tener menor protección frente al coronavirus

Si te vacunaste contra el Covid-19 a principios de la primavera, es probable que tus anticuerpos estén disminuyendo, pero no es algo que deba preocuparte, según recoge Europa Press de un nuevo estudio de la Universidad de Georgia, en Estados Unidos, publicado en la revista Frontiers in Immunology.

"En general, los niveles de anticuerpos están disminuyendo, pero no su capacidad para proteger contra la infección -asegura Ted Ross, autor principal y director del Centro de Vacunas e Inmunología de la UGA-. La calidad sigue ahí aunque la cantidad total haya bajado".

El estudio ha comprobado que la vacunación da lugar a una respuesta inmunitaria significativamente más robusta que la observada en las personas que contrajeron el coronavirus de forma natural.

Manifestación en Róterdam contra las restricciones en Países Bajos: "Una orgía de violencia"

Al menos siete personas heridas y 20 arrestadas durante una manifestación en contra de las restricciones contra el Covid-19 en Países Bajos en la que la policía efectuó disparos al aire entre los cientos de participantes. El alcalde de Róterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb, ha calificado de "una orgía de violencia" en la que se atacó "fuertemente" a los agentes, informa Efe.
