On the afternoon of November 19th, the Hong Kong Police, Immigration Department, Customs, Fire Department and other inter-departmental anti-terrorism task forces conducted an inter-departmental anti-terrorism exercise code-named "Tiger Speed" at the West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-speed Railway.

The main purpose of this exercise is to strengthen the cross-departmental counter-terrorism task force and various departments' ability to integrate counter-terrorism intelligence and respond to terrorist attacks, and at the same time raise public awareness of counter-terrorism work.

The simulation exercise received reports from the public that radical gangs were planning attacks against important infrastructure and immigration gates in Hong Kong.

All departments of the task force strengthened security patrols at relevant locations and dismantled criminal gangs.

The exercise was held at the West Kowloon Station of the Hong Kong High Speed Rail to simulate the interception of immigration officers.
