The departure of an Egyptian broadcaster due to a sudden health crisis .. and a doctor warns of the "deceptive scenario"

Suddenly, yesterday evening, Wednesday, the Egyptian broadcaster, Sherine Dweik, died after a quick illness.

The media, Mervat El-Meligy, published, through her Facebook account, the news of the death of her colleague, due to stomach pain that lasted only a few hours, after which she breathed her last.

Dweik graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of English, then joined Egyptian TV and worked for the Egyptian Channel One and the Egyptian Satellite Channel.

She presented a number of programmes, including "Text an Hour of Press" and "Album of Memories", as well as the "Janab Al-Safir" program.

The late broadcaster received offers to work in art, but she preferred media work and presenting programs.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Egypt for Health and Sustainable Development and the former Dean of the Heart Institute, Dr. Gamal Shaaban, revealed a surprise about the diagnosis of the case of the late journalist Sherine Dweik before her death.

Shaaban re-published a publication for the media, Mervat El-Meligy, through his account on "Facebook", on Thursday, in which she described the symptoms that Sherine Dweik felt, a stomach pain that was diagnosed as colon, which exposed her to sudden death during sleep.

Jamal Shaaban warned against: "The deceptive scenario of posterior coronary artery thrombosis is stomach pain, then diagnosed as a colon, then sudden death during sleep."

He added: "The lesson learned is that the heart should be drawn when any pain occurs in the chest or upper abdomen, in the stomach area, may God have mercy on the deceased."

Sherine Al-Dweik passed away at the age of 46, and she is the last group to join television during the era of the late Minister of Information Safwat Al-Sharif. She is married, has a son, and an English literature graduate.
