Last week, Baldwin, along with the film Rust's weapons officer, was sued by lighting engineer Serge Svetnoy for "through negligence or negligence" causing the accident that killed photographer Halyna Hutchins.

Hutchins died after being hit by a sharp bullet from a film weapon, which was fired by Baldwin during the filming of Rust in New Mexico last month.

Now a second lawsuit against the star has been filed, this time by screenwriter Mamie Mitchell, who was the one who called SOS after the fatal accident.

Accused of inflicting damage

Mitchell accuses Baldwin, who is also the producer of the film, and his co-producers of intentionally inflicting emotional suffering and intentionally inflicting harm.

Hutchins was killed during a scene in which Baldwin fired a weapon directly at the camera.

The weapon had been approved before the rehearsal and would only contain loose shots, but turned out to contain a sharp shot that immediately killed Hutchins.

According to the mood, the weapon should have been tested first in the presence of the star to show that it was safe, something was not done.

A police investigation is underway into the case, but no one has yet been charged with the fatal shooting.
