A study reveals amazing results of drinking coffee and tea together

A recent medical study showed that drinking coffee or tea daily significantly reduces the risk of stroke and dementia, especially if both are consumed, not just one of them.

The researchers said in the study, which was conducted at Tianjin University in China: "Previous studies have revealed the association of coffee and tea in protecting against stroke and dementia.."

The study examined data from more than 360,000 participants over a period of 10 to 14 years, whose data was collected from a British data bank, according to "CNN".

The researchers found that those who drank 2 to 3 cups of coffee, 3 to 5 cups of tea a day, or a combination of 4 to 6 cups of coffee or tea a day had increased protection from stroke and dementia.

This applies to drinking coffee or tea separately daily, but the best results were for those who drank 2 to 3 cups of coffee and also 2 to 3 cups of tea per day, i.e. 4 to 6 cups of coffee and tea together.

Those who did not drink had a 28 percent lower risk of dementia and a 32 percent lower risk of stroke.

"Our findings suggest that moderate consumption of coffee and tea, separately, or together, was associated with a reduced risk of stroke and dementia," the researchers said in a statement.
