At 23:36 on November 17, a magnitude 4.7 earthquake occurred in Gongxian County (28.14 degrees north latitude, 104.75 degrees east longitude) in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, with a focal depth of 13 kilometers.
After the earthquake, Sichuan Yibin Fire Brigade immediately mobilized the heavy earthquake rescue team and the Xingwen County, Junlian County, Gaoxian, Gongxian, and Changning County earthquake rescue teams to complete the assembly and stand by, ready to dispatch police rescue at any time.
At 0:02 on the 18th, the full-time team of Gongxian County, Yibin Fire Department dispatched 2 vehicles and 9 people to the epicenter to conduct inspections.
It was learned that the towns and villages surrounding the epicenter felt the tremor, and the communication, power supply, and traffic roads in the surrounding counties were normal. No reports of casualties and property losses have been received.
