　　[Explanation] Zhuang Shiping was born in Puning, Guangdong. In December 1949, he founded Nanyang Commercial Bank in Hong Kong and raised the first five-star red flag in Hong Kong's financial industry on the day the bank opened.

In June 1950, the Nantong Bank organized by Zhuang Shiping was established in Macau.

In 1986, Zhuang Shiping handed over the Nantong Bank to the state free of charge and changed it to the Macau branch of the Bank of China.

In 2007, Zhuang Shiping donated Nanyang Commercial Bank to the country free of charge.

　　Every year on October 1st, at 7 o'clock, I will hang the national flag at the window.

After hanging the national flag, because of the situation at that time, it was not like it is now. At that time, it was ruled by the British Hong Kong government. They were very concerned about who hangs the national flag. They would be very nervous. They would send some plainclothes police officers to watch the street. , The windows of our house were smashed with stones because we live on the second floor. Afterwards, my mother said that on the days when the national flag was hung, she told us to look at the street from time to time and pay attention to whether there were some wearing plain clothes or some special ones. People, take a look and don't let the flag lose.

Before my dad went to work, he would check whether we were tied up, and he would go to work after seeing it.

The exhibition showcases Zhuang Shiping’s life’s colorful pictures, articles, pen, ink, paper, inkstone, and frugal daily necessities.
