Snapchat, Google Cloud, Spotify and Other Sites Down

The services of Google Cloud, Snapchat, Spotify and a number of other websites have been disrupted, according to users on social networking sites and Forbes magazine.

The outage followed a widespread six-hour outage that paralyzed Facebook apps last month, after faulty changes to the social media company's router settings.

Spotify said it is aware of "some issues at the moment and is checking them", after more than 50,000 users reported experiencing problems.

Forbes noted that many Snapchat users are having trouble using the app.

The app support team tweeted, "Wait a minute, we're working on a fix. In the meantime, we recommend staying signed in."

Activists on Twitter launched the hashtag "#Snapchat_suspended", referring to the malfunction of the Snapchat application.
