The Egyptian Ministry of Transport announced that free Wi-Fi will be available for passengers at the Ramses station for the first time, starting next December.

The ministry said in an official statement, that this step comes within the plan of new projects adopted by the ministry, as Lieutenant-General Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, stressed the speed of their implementation, which aims to serve the citizen and serve the comprehensive development plans witnessed by the transport sector in Egypt, which are consistent with the vision of the Republic. new.

The ministry clarified that this plan is part of an integrated plan in order to develop the services of the National Authority for Egypt's Railways and to seek to provide well-being to the public of the Ramses station, to match the international train stations.

She pointed out that "MOT" for Investment and Development signed a contract with Kemet Company, KMT, with the aim of providing a free Wi-Fi internet service inside the station in all its grounds and yards, and the service will be officially launched on 12/1/2021.

The project to provide a free Wi-Fi internet service inside the Ramses station in Egypt is one of the means of maximizing the value-added services of the railway facility, increasing its resources and attracting different segments of the public.
