Finalists in this category were the TV presenter and content editor Rubén Ortega, for "Tecnología en la Granja", for RTVE, and the journalist Elena Turrión, for "Cloning and assisted reproduction: science" to the rescue "of animals on the edge of extinction ", published in Newtral.es.
The award ceremony for the thirty-fourth edition of the Boehringer Ingelheim Award, the oldest in Spain dedicated to health communication, was held this Tuesday in a virtual gala presented by the journalist Mercedes Martín.
A total of 421 works have been presented this year to the five categories of the contest.
In addition to EL MUNDO's work, the audiovisual director Claudia Reig was also awarded for "Parir en el Siglo 21", a production by Barret Corporativa for the Audiovisual Innovation Laboratory of Radiotelevisión Española (Lab RTVE) and À Punt Mèdia; the social journalist of the Diari ARA Lara Bonilla with Ricard Marfà in the design part and Idoia Longan in the programming for "Body of a woman, medicine of a man". Both works won in the category 'Disclosure in innovation applied to the quality of life of the patient'.
