A Saudi family holds a farewell party for an Indian expatriate after his 38-year stay in Qurayyat

A Saudi family from Al-Qurayyat Governorate, Al-Jawf region, north of the Kingdom, held a farewell party for an Indian expatriate, who was working as the imam of a mosque, after he decided to leave Saudi Arabia permanently, after his 38-year stay in the Kingdom.

The family was keen to present gifts to the Indian expatriate, called Sheikh Saeed, before leaving Saudi Arabia permanently, and returning to his country, according to the Saudi newspaper Al-Marsad.

For his part, the Indian expatriate said that he was sad about the separation of the people of Qurayyat after spending 38 years with them, which is not a short period, and at the same time, he thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince.

One of the citizens said that Sheikh Saeed deserves to be honored, because he has done nothing but good since he came to Saudi Arabia at a young age, and until he decided to leave after more than three decades.

The Indian expatriate recited verses from the Noble Qur’an during his farewell party, amid praise from all those present, for his good manners, during the period he spent in Saudi Arabia.
