He was one of those actors whom we are sure to have seen in several films and series but whose name we do not know. Heath Freeman, a supporting role in a dozen American series, died Sunday at the age of 41, his agent confirmed to
Entertainment Weekly
magazine
. The circumstances of his death are not known at this time. After a first appearance in
Emergency
in 2001, Heath Freeman followed up with guests in the pilot of
Tru Calling or
an episode of
NCIS
. But viewers remember him even more as Howard Epps, the first serial killer to appear in the
Bones
series
.
He was then seen in
The Closer, FBI Missing, Raising the bar, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Torchwood
and several films.
He had new plans at the time of his death.
