It looks like we have lived to see a real sensation.

Great Britain is ready to go to war with Russia.

This conclusion follows from the information circulated with reference to the British edition of The Mirror.

It turns out that Great Britain can transfer up to 600 British troops to Ukraine against the background of the threat of a military invasion by the Russian Federation.

The task force is ready to deploy on Ukrainian territory in a short time.

This idiotic news is laid out with details, which, apparently, should give the whole story additional credibility.

The publication, citing sources, reports that British special forces were warned of a possible dispatch to Ukraine within a few hours.

Preparations began after the heads of the defense departments and MI6 reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin posed a clear and real danger to Ukraine and the West.

At the moment, a consolidated group is being created from representatives of special forces, a reconnaissance regiment, medics, engineers and signalmen. It will include up to 400 paratroopers of the 16th Air Assault Brigade. “The brigade unit was told that it might need to be deployed very quickly. 400 to 600 soldiers are ready. Their equipment is packed, and they are ready to fly to Ukraine and either land or parachute. They prepared for both cases, ”the source said.

I must say that there are some grounds for such news.

A couple of days ago, the Chief of Defense Staff of Great Britain, General Sir Nick Carter, announced the growing crisis in relations between the Western countries and the Russian Federation.

London is wary of an "accidental" war.

According to Carter, this situation can become the cause of open conflict due to any "accident."

The Ukrainian media enthusiastically picked up the news, but in fact, few people believe in the British paratroopers who are ready to enter a military confrontation with Russia, even in Ukraine.

Even if we assume that Moscow really intends to unleash a war with Ukraine, then 600 special forces - no matter where they drop from - will clearly not become a hindrance.

But there is another essential circumstance: the Kremlin has explained more than once that it does not intend to start any wars, no matter how anyone dreamed about it.

One of the MPs from the Servant of the People party recently mentioned that the new Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov should "drag the United States into closer cooperation with Ukraine and create at least one NATO military base in Ukraine."

These are dreams similar to those of British paratroopers.

Despite the fact that, as Vladimir Putin said, the "military development" of Ukrainian territory by the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance is "already underway", neither the United States nor other countries can openly deploy bases here, since this is directly prohibited by Article 117 of the country's Constitution.

The constitution, of course, can be changed, but Washington has more than once declared through the lips of its politicians and military that American troops will not, under any circumstances, fight on Ukrainian territory.

It must be assumed that Britain also adheres to a similar point of view.

But where does the story of 600 British special forces come from?

I believe, from the same place as the publications of all the leading American media about Russia's intention to enter the war with Ukraine.

“A lie repeated a thousand times becomes true,” said Joseph Goebbels.

Any fakes - whether about special forces or about war - perform one task: to maintain tension at the maximum level, describing Russia as an occupier and aggressor.

The point of view of the author may not coincide with the position of the editorial board.
