An honest Christmas with Knyckertz is about 11-year-old Ture who, for once, wants to celebrate an ordinary, honest Christmas.
But it becomes difficult when he is the only law-abiding person in the family.
In general, Ture finds it difficult to fit in with father Bove, sister Kriminellen and mother Fia.
- He stays a little outside the family because everyone else is a thief, says actor Axel Adelöw.
Strong morale despite the thief theme
It is not uncommon for Christmas calendars to be criticized, especially for moral issues.
This year's Christmas calendar begins with the siblings stealing the Christmas tree from a nursing home.
But despite the criminal theme, there is a strong moral compass in the series, according to screenwriter Anders Sparring.
- My ambition is definitely not to strike a blow for the criminal life - rather the opposite, he says and laughs.
