New confessions of the Kuwaiti mother who killed her daughter and left her body for 5 years in the bathroom!

While the Public Prosecution in Kuwait decided to imprison a citizen for 21 days pending investigation, a judge refused to renew the detention, and released the accused of killing her daughter in Salmiya, whose decomposing body was found 5 years after her death.

A well-informed source told Al-Qabas newspaper that the accused was charged with two charges of imprisoning her daughter's freedom and premeditated murder, but she denied that she had killed her, as well as the second charge, justifying that it was aimed at preventing the victim from leaving the house as a form of education.

The source indicated that the accused said during the investigations: "I did not kill my daughter, and all that was in the matter was that I prevented her from going out, and it became clear to me after that she refused to eat and then died."

And about the reason for her daughter staying and decomposing her body for all these years inside the house, and she did not inform the competent authorities or bury her, the accused mother replied, by saying: “On the day my daughter died, there was a famous case that shook Kuwait, represented by a maid killing her employer’s daughter, and she was afraid. That my fate be like this case, that the matter became famous and that I went to prison.”

Last month, Kuwaiti police found the skeleton of a girl in the bathroom of her parents' house, five years after her death.

Kuwaiti media quoted security sources as saying that the girl’s brother had submitted a report to the Salmiya police station, stating that his sister had died since 2016, and that his mother was “keeping her body” in the bathroom of the family home.

When inspecting the house, the security men found a skeleton inside the closed bathroom, and the mother admitted that her daughter had died since that date, and about the reason for not reporting the death, the mother replied that she was afraid.

The skeleton was referred to forensic medicine to determine the cause of death, and the mother and her son were kept.
