will go back to filming for additional scenes, with the consequence of a delayed release from March to May 2022. Nothing unusual for a Hollywood blockbuster, and even less for a Marvel production, used to exercise and the famous post-credits scenes. But

revealed those reshoots were significant, with the entire team on deck six days a week until the end of the year. Fans were immediately moved and worried to see director Sam Raimi (the
Spider-Man
) dispossessed of the film.
The Hollywood Reporter
assures, and reassures, that the filmmaker remains well behind the camera, and that the scenes concerned have less to do with the story than with problems related to the availability of actors or the Covid pandemic.
Another source notes, however, that six weeks can be "a whole new movie."
