An Egyptian beats his son to death, under the pretext of "disciplining him"

An Egyptian citizen admitted that he severely beat his son, which led to his death, but said that he acted in this way in order to "discipline" him.

And the Egyptian authorities arrested the accused after receiving a report from a hospital in the Marg area that a seven-year-old child had arrived as a dead body.

Hospital staff revealed signs of torture on the child's body.

Police investigations revealed that the father of the deceased was behind the incident, and that he severely beat his son with the intent to discipline him until he died, and he was arrested and confessed to committing the incident, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper.

In the South Giza Court, the opposition judge renewed the imprisonment of a housewife for 15 days for a similar crime.

The mother was accused of killing her five-year-old child after beating him to death in the Al-Ayat area.

Examination of the child's body, it was found that it had traces of beatings in different places.

Investigations revealed that the mother had assaulted him, until he fell unconscious and took his last breath at once.

Not only did the mother hit his face and body, claiming to discipline him, but she also assaulted him by hitting him on the head until a lifeless body fell on his face, according to Sada Al-Balad website.

The mother confessed to committing the incident "with the purpose of disciplining him" without intending to kill him.
