Chen Jianjun, a 24-year-old firefighter who killed a woman who saved her life, was posthumously awarded the honorary title of "Huainan Good Man"

　　China News Service, Hefei, November 14 (Reporter Zhao Qiang) The Office of the Guiding Committee for the Construction of Spiritual Civilization in Huainan City, Anhui Province issued a news on the 14th that on November 12, Chen Jianjun, a Huainan firefighter from the Fire Rescue Detachment of Bozhou City, Anhui Province, jumped off a building and committed suicide. The woman fell unfortunately and died heroically after being rescued. She was only 24 years old.

In order to commend the advanced, promote righteousness, and give full play to the vanguard and exemplary role and the leading role of the backbone, the Huainan Civilization Committee decided to posthumously award Comrade Chen Jianjun the honorary title of "Huainan Good Man" on the morning of the 14th.

　　Chen Jianjun, male, Han nationality, from Huainan, Anhui Province, born in July 1997, a reserve party member of the Communist Party of China, joined the work in September 2014, and worked as a firefighter at Qishan Road Fire and Rescue Station of the Fire Rescue Brigade of Mengcheng County, Bozhou City during his lifetime, and a third-level firefighter Rescue title.

During his lifetime, he was awarded the title of advanced individual once, the title of outstanding soldier twice, and was awarded twice. He has participated in various fire fighting and rescue operations more than 1,300 times, evacuated and rescued nearly 100 trapped people, and practiced "loyalty to the party, Strictly disciplined, go through fire and water, and serve the people wholeheartedly".

　　At 10 o'clock on November 12, the Public Security Bureau of Mengcheng County, Anhui received a report from the public that a woman near the commercial city wanted to jump off the building.

After receiving the police, the public security, fire protection, 120 emergency center and other departments went to the scene for rescue as soon as possible.

During the rescue, the woman who committed suicide and Chen Jianjun, a fire rescuer, fell from the 4th floor and was injured. The woman died after being sent to the hospital.

Chen Jianjun died heroically after being rescued and was only 24 years old.

Chen Jianjun fulfilled his promise of serving the people with his life and blood, and promoted the noble spirit of the people's interests above all else.
