The annual illumination has begun around Lake Chuzenji, a tourist attraction in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture.

Around Lake Chuzenji in Nikko City, local tourist groups and others light up tourist spots every year at this time of year so that tourists can visit even after the autumn leaves season is over. It started day and night.

Of these, Kegon Falls, which has a head of 97 meters and is known as one of Japan's three most famous waterfalls, has a white waterfall that emerges in the jet-black darkness while the sound of water flowing down vigorously echoes.

Also, at Chuzenji Temple, which is known for Tachiki Kannon, the vermilion-painted temples lined up on the slopes of the mountain were illuminated by light, creating a mysterious atmosphere.

A couple in their twenties who visited Chuzenji Temple from Tokyo said, "I never come to the temple at night, so I thought it was mysterious and wonderful."

Takaaki Kishino, Vice Chairman of the Oku-Nikko Revitalization Promotion Council, said, "I am delighted to be able to illuminate the area under the influence of the new corona. I would like to take this opportunity to boost tourism in the region."

The lights will be lit up daily from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm until the 23rd of this month, with nighttime tour boat cruising on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays during the period.
