[Explanation] It's another year of "Double Eleven".

The Shanghai police disclosed on the same day that a number of online shopping fraud cases had been uncovered in the recent "strengthening sword" operation.

Among them, the Shanghai Yangpu police destroyed a gang that used short video platforms to post fake shopping advertisements to drain traffic, and then used online social platforms to commit fraud. In one fell swoop, 54 criminal suspects were arrested, involving nearly 1,000 victims across China, and the amount involved was 1,000. More than ten thousand yuan (RMB, the same below).

In July 2021, the victim Ms. Zhang bought a course of treatment online for 1,580 yuan and received various "black hair" products from the other party.

After using these products for a period of time, Ms. Zhang found that her gray hair did not turn black.

When he raised questions to "Ms. Wang", the other party again promoted the so-called "shampoo tea" to Ms. Zhang on the grounds that he had "bad physique" and needed a tailor-made "hair turning black" conditioning plan. ""Materia Medica Umi" and other products, and charged a fee of more than 12,000 yuan twice.

After Ms. Zhang used these products, not only did her hair not turn black, she also experienced symptoms such as scalp redness and swelling.

After realizing that she might be deceived, Ms. Zhang reported to the Yangpu police.

  [Concurrent] Victim Ms. Zhang

Because at the beginning, he promised that my hair will turn black in two months, and that it will not recur before I am 60, and I will always be black hair.

There was no effect for more than two months. I sent a WeChat message to him and asked him, why did I still have no effect?

He said to look at your tongue, look at the palm of your hand, and then he took a picture of him.

He first said that your liver is faulty, I said that my liver is not faulty. He said that it is a bile fault. He said that the internal organs caused by bile toxin are not absorbed. Let me regulate the gall bladder. I said how much money, he said 6,800. Later I turned 6800.

[Explanation] The Yangpu police investigation found that after attracting the victim's attention and adding relevant online social platform accounts, the criminals pretended to be professional physicians and used "online diagnosis and treatment" and "professional reports" to gain the victims' trust.

Subsequently, the victim's "hair follicles", "bad liver and kidneys" and "needs conditioning" were used to promote the so-called "health products" for fraud. The amount of fraud each time ranged from several thousand yuan to tens of thousands of yuan.

In September 2021, the project team went to Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei and other places to simultaneously carry out centralized network collection operations, arresting 54 criminal suspects in one fell swoop, and confiscated a large number of fraudulent scripts, mobile phones, computers and other items involved in the crime on the spot.

These products are first of all non-toxic and harmless, and secondly, they have no therapeutic effect. They only use their words, and then they are packaged, repackaged, and packaged into tall products, and then make huge profits.

Some products (costs) are only 3 yuan, 5 yuan, 8 yuan, the highest is about 70 yuan, for example, when they sell, they are basically 1980 (yuan), and the sum of these products will not exceed 20 or 30 yuan. Yuan, the profit is about 30 to 100 times.

[Explanation] It was later verified that the products they sold were all low-quality "three-no" products, most of which cost tens of yuan, while the online price was hundreds or even thousands of yuan.

Cai Yang introduced that the harm of this type of criminal tactics is continuous. First, it gave the victims hope that they could spend a small amount of money to cure serious illnesses, thus guiding the victims to "step into the pit."

After taking the medicine, it seems that there is no effect, and then the opponent will tell him (her) that this is not a treatment, and this is a conditioning, and then you continue to buy my products for treatment.

It is to repeat the routine, and then make a diagnosis report, just like the diagnosis report read by the hospital, the speech skills are very professional, and then the victim feels that he has found a professional team, and it is very convenient not to go out, just chat on WeChat and the goods will be delivered. It is this kind of thinking that will continue to be deceived.

[Explanation] At present, among the criminal suspects arrested in this case, 49 people have been arrested according to law and 5 criminal coercive measures have been taken.

Wu Qiang, head of the Police Receiving and Handling Brigade of the Criminal Investigation Corps of Shanghai Public Security Bureau, said that in recent years, the deceived population has gradually become younger, especially in online shopping scams, with "post-90s" and "post-00s" becoming the main deceived groups. , Accounting for 71.8% of the total deceived population, with an average age of 26.5 years.
