On November 10, local time, the Russian Technology Group announced that the group has begun mass production of PD-14 engine parts for the MS-21 passenger plane using continuous fiber 3D printing technology.

  The Russian Technology Group issued a statement on the same day that in the first stage of the above-mentioned 3D printing manufacturing, the "printed" parts will be used to produce fuel system components for the PD-14 engine, and it plans to produce about 2,000 such components by 2024.

  The MS-21 passenger aircraft is a civilian aircraft being developed by Russia.

This type of passenger plane plans to use two engines: the Russian PD-14 engine and the American Pratt-Whitney PW1400 engine.

This passenger aircraft equipped with PD-14 engine completed its first flight in December 2020.
