"We

share the luck with whom we share life

."

Friends, family, co-workers, neighbors ... The slogan

of the Christmas Lottery 2021 announcement

already makes clear the intention of the advertising campaign for the December 22 draw: an invisible friend who distributes millions of euros among all close people.

This is shown by the spot, which has cost 750,000 euros and which begins with a man opening the mailbox and picking up an envelope with a tenth of the Christmas Draw and a note: "Dear neighbors,

nothing would make me more excited than to celebrate it with all my neighbors

". A letter without a sender. "Who is sending it to us?" Asks his wife. There is no answer, nobody knows who sends it, but he creates an idea: increase the chain by distributing tenths among the rest of the countrymen of this town in the Baztán valley, in Navarra.

That causes a kind of common invisible friend to be unleashed throughout the town: envelopes entering under doors, tickets in the inside pockets of coats and even a tenth that appears inside a photo booth. And, by chance, that number is the winner for all the people. Hence the motto - "we share our luck with whom we share life" - and that in the different proposals there is one dedicated to co-workers, another to grandmothers or another to a group of friends.

"Luck and all the stories that revolve around the Lottery will be the news of all Spaniards," said previously the president of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, Jesús Huerta Almendro, who remarked that this year the draw

will be put on sale again 3,340 million euros

, of which 70% will be redistributed in prizes (2,340 million). This collection will come from the sale of 172 million tenths distributed in more than 10,000 points of sale throughout Spain.

What

is not yet clear is that the public will return to the Royal Theater,

which one more year will host the draw. "It is what we would like, but I do not want to anticipate anything because we have to be aware of the health situation day by day," said Huerta, despite the fact that currently in Madrid 100% capacity is already allowed in both theaters and On cinemas.

Among the novelties of this year, the Christmas Lottery will allow citizens to

collect prizes of up to 2,000 euros through Bizum

.

"We are adapting to society," explained the president of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado.

"We will continue to meet in constructive dialogue to find the best solutions to our problems," Huerta also stated about the importance of the draw with the intention of "looking back at our roots and our roots."
