Many years ago, a wise Kremlin official taught me that you cannot oversimplify. Simple systems are too attractive, and the more attractive they are, the simpler they are. “The Jews are to blame for everything” is a very simple system. We all know what this simplification has led to. But, surprisingly, over the years and eras, the desire to simplify the picture of the world has not changed.

Perhaps the methods have changed somewhat, and now “those who are to blame for all the problems” are no longer burned in ovens.

Now they are blown up and cut with melee weapons on bridges.

The scale has become smaller, the media exhaust has become larger (I remind you that the newspapers did not mention how they burned in furnaces), but still we are ruled by a simple picture of the world.

Men are to blame for everything.

Homophobes are to blame for everything.

The adults are to blame for everything.

Russian hackers are to blame for everything.

The Russians are to blame for everything.

The Chinese are to blame for everything.

The Americans are to blame for everything - well, too, why not.

Or an Englishwoman who, as you know, shits.

For example, Barack Obama.

Winner, by the way, of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Well, that's okay, it happens.

Who is not given sometimes.

But there was a real US president!

And a fool will never become the president of the United States, just believe me.

The stakes are too high.

And this honored man, with a blue (sic!) Eye, declares that the Russians and the Chinese are to blame for the future ecological catastrophe.

Because they do not want to take "urgent and decisive action" to combat harmful emissions.

Moreover, we did not attend the climate summit in Glasgow.

I will not even begin to doubt the generally accepted ecological picture of the world, according to which the anthropogenic factor in climate change is decisive.

Looking at the video of any volcanic eruption, one would like to doubt this picture, but what to do, mankind tends to simplify.

Okay, let the warming be caused by harmful emissions from humans and cows.

But whose would, as they say, bellow.

The Kyoto Protocol on the Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions into the Earth's Atmosphere was adopted in 1997.

Almost a quarter of a century ago.

It has been ratified by 190 countries - almost the entire planet.

Who hasn't ratified it?

That's right, United States of America.

And Canada left it altogether in 2012.

Russia, on the other hand, has not only ratified this agreement, but is also overfulfilling its obligations under it.

So why was there a need for a climate summit in Glasgow, if one already took place a quarter of a century ago and, based on its results, decisions were made that were not taken in Glasgow?

The question is, of course, rhetorical.

Any politician in the conditions of the so-called true democracy must somehow justify his own existence.

To justify one's own existence for such a politician is to follow the lead of an aggressive minority.

Aggressive minority usually lacks education and outlook, but what to do, if you do not follow their lead, then they will cancel you.

Therefore, Greta Thunberg comes to the forum in Glasgow, but the leaders of Russia and China do not come there.

Because they have more important things to do than the next, as Greta rightly says, "blah blah blah."

As the mayor of Kiev, Vitaly Klitschko, rationally (sic again!) Remarked the other day, "Russian President Vladimir Putin acts exclusively in the interests of his country." He said this, one must think, with a reproach. I tend to take this as a compliment to my president. For in whose interests should he act? Well, not in the interests of Greta Thunberg.

Barack Obama, of course, understands all this. As he understands the vulnerability of the US position in this whole story of the struggle for windmills. But he has nowhere to go: if you want to stay - okay there, not so interesting, but at least acceptable for young people with transparent icy eyes - you must meet their expectations. And their expectations are usually as simple in the ecological picture of the world as they are complex in the psychological picture of the world. Therefore, Barack Obama has to simplify. The Russians and the Chinese are to blame for everything. President Biden says that the tundra in Russia is on fire - that means where the root of evil is.

Unlike President Biden, I was born and raised in the tundra.

And I would have watched with interest how it can burn.

For there is nothing especially to burn there.

But these details are not important for young people with transparent, icy eyes.

The general pathos is important to them, and if you do not give them this pathos, then you are not a hero.

However, judging by the complex mental organization of Greta Thunberg, even if you give them this pathos, it does not mean at all that they will not consider it as "blah-blah-blah."

Here, of course, to draw some general conclusion about the situation.

Either global warming is nonsense (although the eyes see that it is happening), or the dependence of this very warming on anthropological factors, in turn, is nonsense (questions already arise here).

Or American politicians are trying to shift global problems from their heads to others (which is no less obvious than global warming).

But we started by simplifying the picture of the world as an unsuitable technique for understanding the world order.

Simplification works great in mathematics, often works well in programming, but alas, it works very poorly in physics.

The difference between physics and mathematics is that people invented mathematics, and physics is what it is.

And more Nikakov.

Global climate change is physics, not mathematics.

And they cannot be simplified.

And, of course, the fate of humanity does not depend on Putin and Xi Jinping.

And not even from Greta Thunberg.
