Toulon (Var) will host a Ferris wheel for the first time on the occasion of the end of the year celebrations.

The structure is being installed and will begin to operate on November 24th.

It will take pride of place on Place Monsenergue and offer visitors a breathtaking view of the port, the old town and the harbor, indicates France Bleu Provence.

The merry-go-round has been specially designed to adapt to the dimensions of the site.

The square in front of the Arsenal is indeed “quite narrow.

The technicians came to take the measures so that we could install the structure between the fountain and the trees, ”explained Richard Kerwich, the owner of the ferris wheel.

The latter, brand new, consists of 24 cabins.

It weighs 120 tons for a height of 40 meters.

Its date of entry into activity will mark the start of the activities planned for Christmas by the City of Toulon.

5 euros for adults

Very young children will be able to board the Ferris wheel without spending a penny.

Richard Kerwich put forward a pricing offering as many people as possible the opportunity to take advantage of the attraction.

Tickets will cost five euros for adults and three euros for children.

The manager did not hide his intention, in the long term, to see the merry-go-round occupy this place throughout the year.
