A long-awaited reopening, that of the American borders which had been closed for twenty months because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The measure is greeted with particular enthusiasm in Europe and Central America, but beware: only travelers vaccinated and provided with a negative PCR test will be able to enter American soil.

Ticket bookings are already skyrocketing and airlines are bracing for a surge of travelers to the United States.

This lifting of restrictions also represents a breath of fresh air for a sector plunged into crisis by the pandemic.
