The Egyptian security services revealed the fact that an Egyptian artist was subjected to an attempted kidnapping by a taxi driver.
And the artist, Mai Hassan, had sparked a wide wave of interaction after publications in which she said that the driver had suddenly changed his itinerary, intending to kidnap her.
And the Ministry of Interior stated in a statement issued by it, that the incident was a verbal altercation between one of the artists and a driver in one of the private passenger transport companies within the Al-Ahram Gardens area in the Al-Ahram Police Department, due to the dispute over the value of the fare when she got off the car.
The ministry clarified that there is no truth to what was circulated about the attempt to kidnap an actress by the driver, noting that the artist believed that the driver would kidnap her, in order to change the itinerary.
And the artist, Mai Hassan, had previously spoken to the newspaper “Al-Watan”, explaining the details of the incident that she was exposed to, and that when she returned home at six thirty in the evening, she noticed that the driver of one of the companies that transported passengers, changed his destination, and when asked about the reason Excessive speed and his threat to jump out of the car, he only flirted with her, so suspicion arose in her heart, and she decided to file a report against him inside the police station, because she thought he was trying to kidnap her.
