The President of the International Federation of Publishers reviewed the latest initiatives and projects launched by the Federation, in response to the needs of publishers around the world, including the “International Charter for Enhancing the Sustainability and Resilience of the Publishing Sector (InSPIRe)”, in addition to the ongoing preparations for the launch of the “International Federation of Publishers Academy”, aimed at enhancing digital skills. and technology for publishers.

Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi explained the importance of integration, dialogue and practical cooperation between publishers and all actors in the publishing sector system, such as printing presses, libraries, writers, distributors, designers and others, to achieve integration that contributes to facing challenges and strengthening the spirit of solidarity among all components of the publishing sector.

During the meeting, she called on the Emirates Publishers Association to participate in the "Publishers Conference", which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, in November next year.
