From Syria, she specializes in Arabic comics.

The session was moderated by Eman Mohammed from the Emirates Council on Books for Young People. During their participation, the judges of the award presented a number of recommendations to makers of Arab children's literature, and reviewed the strengths of the winning works, and the level and number of participations, which the new session of the award for the year 2021 received.

Jury member Tamer Saeed began the discussion by emphasizing the importance of the annual tradition of evaluating the experience of each award cycle.

A member of the award's jury, Dr. Suzan Abu Ghida, pointed out the need to review children's and young people's books, and be patient for them to be re-edited by specialists.

The painter, Yasser Geisa, indicated that the winning works had a clear artistic identity and privacy, and reflected the painters' reference, their personal fingerprints, and their culture away from tradition.

Dr. Bushra Al-Akaishi said: "Those who write for children should be aware of the importance of the aesthetic peculiarities of drawings, the nature of issues and the goals behind the stories."
