Lotfi Labib announces his retirement from acting: "I can't stand on my feet"

The Egyptian artist, Lotfi Labib, announced his retirement from acting, during his honor by the Minister of Culture, Enas Abdel Dayem, at the Nohad Saliha party at the Academy of Arts.


In statements to the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan, Lotfi Labib said: “This is the rule of our Lord, and I am satisfied with everything that God wants. He is still watching the dramas that are currently shown on television, and that he loves art and will continue to follow it even if his health condition will not make him able to act.

The Egyptian artist revealed that he was awarded the "Sinai Star" medal, pointing out that "he will continue to be proud of this medal for the last day of his life."


Labib also stressed "the importance of presenting more than one drama about the victories of the October War."

It is reported that the artist Lotfi Labib had a stroke 3 years ago, and is still suffering from its effects to this day, and tried to deal with it and participated in the series Men of the House, but he could not continue acting because he was unable to stand.
