The Misdemeanor Court of the Qasr El-Nil Appeals Court in Cairo upheld the imprisonment of Mohamed Waziri, director of the Lebanese actress Haifa Wehbe's business, for 3 years, enforceable, on charges of "betrayal of trust".
Haifa Wehbe's defense lawyer said that with this ruling, the total sentences issued against my minister for breach of trust and defrauding his client amounted to 8 years in prison.
Last February, a court had sentenced the Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe's business manager to 5 years in prison on charges of squandering and defrauding her of 63 million pounds.
